Verbatim,he told my wife,"After I send a referral to UT-Southwestern,I don't want to see you again." Usually there is a story behind every review. Right hand to God,he had no reason to tell my wife what he said. My wife has MS and she needed him to send paperwork. In essence, because the paperwork is lengthy, he basically held on to the paperwork because it was a lot to do. My review is accurate, and I have no reason to not be honest and truthful in his lack of beside manner. Every visit was trivial and questionable. Good luck trying to get them within hours of 10AM-3PM.

He is the MOST COMPASSIONATE AND INTELLIGENT Neurologist I have ever R been to. It took 6 Neurologists and he was the only to figure out what causes my seizures. Also, he realized I needed a mrdicine for my "chronically "low blood pressure." It has BAFFLED doctors, dentists, EMTs and my OB/GEN. I AM HEALTHY and not in the hospital 3-4 times a year and declared SEPSIS on site.

Dr Blaike is kind, but pragmatic. More importantly he is a neurologist that is extremely knowledgeable and available for his patients. After my stroke I had an episode and called my doctor, Amy Garza and the staff was awful. They could not even get me in for a phone call. I spent 3 days in the hospital instead. Afterwards, I called Dr Blaikes office and he got me in right away and his staff is helpful.

Dr. Blaik had just told me I had a 50/50 chance of developing Alzheimers. I was in shock & he had been so blunt not showing any compassion at all. He gave me a prescription & told me if I had any questions to go back to Dr. Harris (who had tested me)& he pointed across the hall. Then he said it a second time, You would think after giving a patient this possible diagnosis, he would show some kindness & understanding . Talk to me about what it could mean, direct me to other help. I have never been treated so badly by a Dr. & cannot imagine why. I read his reviews, so Im very confused that he treated me that way, and I dont want to chance being treated badly again.

Never been to the Dallas Office, but Dr Blaik was my 1st neurologist I had when he diagnoised me with MS , I was having so many things going on in my life n I found Dr Blaik very compassionate, n he was always that way, each visit we had time to talk about all the reactions I had from MS meds, he was my Dr for seven yrs, n to this date I havent found anyone that can compare, with the treatment I recieved under his care, if he was to come back to Tennessee, I'd be the frist one to make an appiontment!! Just because your personality clashes doent mean the Dr isnt good at his job!! Thanks Dr Ziad Blaik for helping me! LW
