Arrived excited to stay, was impressed with lobby area. When we walked into our room, we immediately noticed hair on one of our beds. On the other bed, there was a crusty substance on the blanket. After checking again, it seemed like 3 more strands of hair appeared out of nowhere on our other bed. We went downstairs to change rooms and were given a new room... that only had a king bed when we had 2 queens at first. So we had to go back on the elevator 20 floors down to talk to the front desk. This time, we spoke with someone else at the desk, who was very rude. My mom tried to kindly explain our issue and he took her keys, saying nothing as he changed our room again. Still didn't speak as we walked off. Our third and final room, not only smelled of cigarette smoke but was dirty, had hair on the bed, and makeup all over the sheets of the other.. When we came down to check out as quickly as we checked in, we were met with some attitude. They apologized for everything but still didn't have a good or even apologetic attitude about what we had just gone through. Not at all impressed with this hotel. The most pleasant person was the valet. Don't waste the time.

I have a friend who was to stay at this hotel and he told me that he had a room downgraded that he had reserved in order for a "reporter" named Donie O'Sullivan could have it. This is proven by the fact that at the same time undercover/investigative Project Veritas done a piece on O'Sullivan where he can been seen actually laughing about the numbers of COVID-19 deaths. The hotel employee again gave this fake reporter special privileges by taking him to a back area where only employees are supposed to be. Does the Renaissance Hotel have a history of allowing CNN reporters into the back, or is this just a rogue employee that should be terminated?

The service was terrible. The parking garage gait did not work the entire stay and would never let you exit without calling an attendant. The parking lot and the entire hotel smelled like marijuana the entire stay. Will never stay there again. As a platinum Marriott member, extremely disappointed.

Only giving one star because there is nothing less. Housekeeping no longer available. Asked for towels for 2 days only to find them in a trash bag tied to door handle as I was checking out. Offered to pick them up myself and told that’s not possible. Restaurant food very expensive and barely edible. When expressing dissatisfaction to front desk they only tell you about their internal problems. Manager not on duty. Very poorly run property.
