Horrible experience. Stayed in the same brand of hotel in Austin the night before. It sounded like kids were playing basketball in the room above us. They had us wait until 10:30 to call and ask them to be quiet. Room was mostly clean....decent experience. Dallas Central Expressway...our room was handicap accessible for our daughter. Checked in...bathroom floor had water all over it from a faucet leak. Front desk continued to check customers in for an hour and a half before helping us to either move rooms, get towels to soak up all the water so that we could shower our daughter and go to bed or send us to a new hotel. We chose to stay in room (for a 10% discount) and we’re still waiting on towels 2 hrs after we requested them....after many calls to front desk and a trip down to desk. Completely unacceptable. Will dispute entire charge with credit card company and never stay in a Springhill Suites again. Please note: this is not Marriott quality....sadly, their name is on this brand, but it’s not clean, even though the renovation is fairly new. Horrible service at this location and walls are cardboard thin. Sink was stained yellow, toilet had not been cleaned, floors were nasty, shower curtain had yellow water stains across the entire bottom.

Worst hotel experience of my life. Booked online through hotels.com. Says my booking is guaranteed. Arrive at the hotel and am met with a rude lady at the front desk who tells me they don't have a room for me at this time, and that if I want to wait around and see if there is a room, I can, but there are several people ahead of me and I may not be able to stay there. Something about there being no clean rooms available, parking lot looked pretty empty. Was told I could cancel free of charge. Left the hotel and struggled to find another. Finally did and it was great. Called hotels.com to make sure I receive a refund because I did not obviously stay there and have had nothing but a pain since. Have called the hotel for the last two weeks to speak with management and get my refund, and have been given the run around. Finally spoke with a manager, after calling 5 times, for him to simply tell me he'll "look into it" and get back with me by Friday. Of course, I didn't get a call back. What was supposed to be a relaxing getaway weekend has turned into a nightmare. All for a hotel I didn't even stay at!

Whoever the morning manager was needs to be fired. She was more interested in coping an attitude and leaving than helping with a staff blunder on our reservation. Instead we were forced to pay for a night that had already been paid for. The reservation had been moved but it was for the same amount of days/nights. Very dissatisfied with the service and none of the amenities were available to us for the stay. Our room phone was even a prop. No actual cord so you couldn't even call the front desk for anything. The rooms are nice but not worth the hassle and rudeness we were shown.

Not worth the price. Paid 170$. We needed a hotel last minute for us our son was admitted at children’s. The staff was rude and unhelpful. The check in right when you walked in the building, & elevators smelled as if they or someone else had been smoking weed. We had our 1.5 year old with us. We booked online on the way up and we had no way to cancel. Not only that there were wasps and my wife got stung in the bed.

Terrible customer service. We stayed there and had our room get broken into and the manager and staff did nothing about it. They were rude and refused to help with anything.
