Love the view the City View rooms provide. Online description leads one to believe there is amusement within walking distance which is not true. While there are things to do it is all driving distance. The on-site restaurant is very good. The serving staff and cant tenders were helpful and upbeat.

This hotel is much cleaner than most hotel properties these days. No complaints there. The first 2.5 weeks of my stay were very pleasant. Debra and Jasmin run the club-level lounge on the 27th floor and are two of the most delightful people and pleasant hosts Ive ever had the pleasure of meeting. They literally will make you feel like you are at homethank you
However I will never stay here again and will likely try to move away from every Marriott-branded property in the future due to my horrible experience with a front desk employee that goes by the name Valerie on my last Sunday morning in Dallas. She treated me with complete disdain over what should have been a minor issue and ended up accusing me of misrepresenting myself and lying. When I asked to speak to her supervisor she told me that she was the manager. Upon further query, she admitted to only being the desk manager. I intend on speaking with the GM about my experience and may edit this review if the situation is resolved to my satisfaction but at this time, I recommend for everyone and anyone to avoid this property unless you enjoy being mistreated. If you have to stay here, I recommend avoiding any interaction with an individual named Valerie, since the other staff have been quite pleasant and seem to understand how to solve simple and minor issues without being rude and disrespectful to customers. Some people should not be in a customer service position with the Marriott corporation. smh
