Kanju Interiors

We were really disappointed in $5000 we spent on this bench. The bench on display in the showroom (as noted in the photos) & online appeared much fuller of terrazzo. Not sure why all the dirty looking spots -- almost like a glue or plaster or something? But all the white open space on ours makes this more apparent. We assumed the bench we got had been sitting in a warehouse for some time -- like perhaps temperature changes/glue from packaging. It has that kind of look. Also at this price point, you would think it would be free of chips and scratches! I would recommend if you like this bench, check out Juniper House. At the time, the designer assured us that if we had any issues, Kanju Interiors was local and we would be protected, so we went ahead and paid the approx $800 price difference. But ultimately, we just got a response that these benches can all turn out different, the terrazzo dispersement can't be controlled, and I guess the chips, scratches, and dirty looking spots are part of it's character per say? If I had known all this, I definitely would have gone the cheaper route & purchased from Juniper House or not purchased at all. We also purchased 2 cork stools that ran around $2K. No issues with them. They arrived as expected.
