I want to take a moment to comment on John Kappel and ONDA. John represented me in a bitter divorce case that went on for nearly two years (due to her actions). John's guidance along this very difficult path was invaluable. The most impressive aspect of John's skill was his preparation and professional conduct at a two day trial that ended as well as I could have expected.

He constructed a game plan that he executed flawlessly with the help of his amazing paralegal Angela Prisock. Everything he said he was going to do, he did. I retained John Kappel in 2016 when I saw my marriage heading in a negative direction. I knew I needed to be prepared to protect my financial interests should my husband at the time follow through with threats to my financial viability. John was patient, understanding and straight forward in directing me how to best prepare myself should I end up in divorce proceedings. John continued his council as needed through the next few years providing guidance as I requested. Our divorce was filed by my spouse in 2019, and finalized in July of 2020. The divorce was intricate between various business partnerships and other tangled and co-mingled investments, etc. John was there by my side to guide me and represent my financial and family interests (regarding my children) as well as my future financial/custody well being. While I was a mental mess grasping the circumstances of the death of a 26 year relationship, John stood steadfast in addressing my best interests with the understanding that I wanted as fair a resolution as possible without being taken advantage of by my ex. I would not have been able to manage in my divorce had it not been for John’s guidance, experience, and resources. He metaphorically held my hand through the entire life-changing process. I was recommended to Holly by a close friend Whom I trust completely. I wanted the best but really wasn’t sure where to turn. The first time I spoke with Holly she listened for well over an hour to everything I spilled out. She was extremely eloquently spoken, professional but also has a way of making you feel very comfortable & she has a great personality. I asked her if she would be willing to take my case & to my surprise she agreed. It was actually a lot of work for her!! I was a complete mess & I was very much a difficult up and down client. She always promptly got back to me no matter how many times I emailed or called a day. She used tactics & she truly is genius that we’re unheard of.if she wasn’t quite sure of an unusual question I had, she would get with one of her other partners to figure the best approach. She came up with things several people I spoke to had no idea you could even do, including my husband or his lawyer! Her paralegal Sandy Blades was so amazing too!! From the receptionist to the billing everyone couldn’t have been any better. When all was said done with the case I was thinking.... well now what do I do? Haha Because hearing their voices when I was stressed beyond belief brought me a peace and always made things better. I would highly recommend ONDA to anyone looking for a highly reputable law firm.
