    Very sorry for your experience. Since we do not know who you are, I can only reply as follows: Condominium Bylaws (with rare exception in Dallas, do NOT address or require that security be provided. It they don't - the Management can't. Apparently yours does not. I would suggest contacting the person you are leasing from. Explain your security needs and ask if they can ask the Board of Directors to call for a vote of the owners to provide such services. I do know of a very few small to mid-size condominiums that do provide security services. They tend to be very high end properties. Unfortuantley the addition of security increases dues (and therfore rent $$$ significantly). I wish you best of luck in whaever home you decide to move to!

    I complain daily about neighbors violating bylaws, and nothing happens. But when I leave a trash bag outside for 5 minutes I get a fine. I can't get any sleep because of the nuisance children out allllllll night. DPD can't or won't help me. Do not move into the Braemar North Condominiums on Garrett. I hate this place.

    DO NOT USE Nolan Management Company. Unprofessional, expensive, poor customer service, and the list goes on. Find another property management company.

    I'll be generous and give a 2.5 star to Nolan. The complaints made by the other reviewers concerning their frequent sloughing off (shedding) of their onsite management responsibilities is irritating. As the the buffer between the Condo Boards and the residents, they walk a tightrope. However, their behavior often includes a denial that they had anything to do with the information they present to the Boards. What then is a Manager for but advice, resources, suggestions and most certainly Budgets and Financial Management. I chalk their personal behavior up to emotional immaturity and possibly a rigid outlook on the world. Their loyalty, I gather, is to the Condo Boards. As one of you said, assisting the residents should be part of the job as well. If you are a "renter", then you go to your landlord or a manager that landlord uses. If you are an owner, then you are told to make contact with the Management Company. Frankly, I have rarely seen or experienced Boards and Managers who APOLOGIZE or admit a MISTAKE. Of the 3-4 managers we have had at our Condo, Nolan has been the most difficult to deal with. It's a shame.
