Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit Dallas

Totally wonderful experience! The staff was very professional! The exhibit showcased the artist more expressive work. The presenters coupled these pieces with classical and well thought out music that made the exhibit feel very real and brought a 1st hand involvement! Great date for couples as well as the classroom!

The show is good, and the images and music are well done, but the whole experience is not worth the ticket price. The curators had a chance to make this an apportunity for art to reach the masses through some education, but this event is purely for the entertainment value, not art. If you didn't know anything about Van Gogh, you will leave with zero knowledge about him and his art. Finally, I felt that some parts of the images were a bit blurry and/or lower res. It could be an issue with the image or the projectors. The images were also a bit flat, so one was not able to appreciate the brush strokes and depth of the images. Again, this proves that the curators focused on the explosion of colors for its entertainment value, but not to truly appreciate the art and the artist. Overall I enjoyed the experience, but I won't be back for more of this type of "immersion" art exhibits.

After all the rave reviews I couldnt wait to experience this exhibit however after actually experiencing it I was left underwhelmed especially after paying $50+ per person for something that could have easily been experienced at home. Arguably the best part of the experience was the gift shop that had a lot of cool Van Gogh merchandise.

Easy to locate event, great workers helped us & even took photos of us. The exhibit was like nothing I have ever seen. We were allowed to stay as long as we wanted. I suggest seeing it at least twice so get all the details.
