Just another poorly managed complex waiting to get demolished for condos.

My partner and I use to live at Bennett Place and never had an issue, every time we needed something fixed it was always done with no hassle, yes every now and then the entrance gate would break but it would get fixed right away. What I miss the most is the area, the manager as she always nice and that we had our own washer and dryer. I would recommend these apartments 👍👍👍

This place is the worst place to live! Poor management and the Owner isn't very good either! They are very prejudice against African Americans and only for Hispanic people are accepted here. I have known an African American Family that has lived there for over 10 year's and has been very mistreated by the Owner when they fell through hard times and couldn't pay the rent on time! This family has always paid the rent on time in the past! just was late for the moment! The manager was harassing them even though they made arrangements to pay rent that is owed. The maintenance guy is very lazy and doesn't fix anything! All he does is pick up trash and pour chemicals in the swimming pool! You have to put in a work order just to get things done and guess what? It never gets done! Poorly ran apartment complex! The Gates never work and is always broken except for the middle gate of the apartments. The manager is never in the office and is very hard to get in contact with as well as she doesn't speak English very well either! The Parking is horrible and awful! People are always getting their cars broken into and hit runs.This Apartment complex was so beautiful and was managed very well 10-12 years ago!The Owner of this complex overly charges for the rent and the property is not worth it! All the Apartments still have 30 year old appliances and don't ask to get anything new it ain't happening! Just don't let your refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, Washer and dryer that some apartments do come with break down on you! They will never fix it! They also have a unreliable rental agreement that doesn't have what they fix and don't fix included on the agreement which is only on one sheet of handwritten paper with bad English! Apparently, Everyone pays different rent! Most are not legal and is getting better treatment than those that are paying! Some people are paying for a one bedroom for $800 a month or Others are only $650! So not fair for the tenets that pay for expensive rent for poorly ran and unkept apartments .If you ever decide to come look or move into these apartments! Please think it over first! This place is not worth the money! The neighbourhood is great and very Convenient to all needs. Just this Apartment complex is not good at all! Needs better management that is Bilingual and the Owner to be more reasonable.
