Montecito Creek Apartments

Moving in was such an easy and quick process ! Natalie was very helpful through the whole process ! Grounds in phase 2 are pretty clean with the occasional trash which is to be expected but maintenance is always on top of it ! We did have spiders when we moved in just because of how long our apartment was vacant, but we were able to get ride of them within a week (they are house spiders not lethal) pest control can spray your apartments on Wednesdays ! I haven’t seen any roaches like other comments are saying but pest control still came and set up gel traps in cabinets in the whole entire complex, they are on top of it if you do. Getting rid of roaches is a two way street. You have to keep the apartment clean especially the bathroom and kitchen . Our apartment is really spacious and having the sunroom for our baby is really nice if you can’t afford the two bed ! I haven’t had a problem with crime at all! Maintenance responds fairly quickly to requests ! The only really problem we have is with the dumpster some people don’t like to throw it in and will leave it beside the trash can so then other people will think it’s full but maintenance fills it up and has a big trash can behind the dumpster in case it does get full where they put the extra trash. Parking is usually pretty good, there is designated guest parking sometimes guest do not follow it but most of the time there are plenty of spaces !

I have nothing but praise to say about my leasing agent Natalie! She was extremely communicative and constantly on top of things. Gave me constant updates throughout the entire process! I am incredibly please with how my entire process went form applying to getting the keys! Everything was extremely professional.

This place is infested with roaches and spiders ,EVERYWHERE and when I say everywhere I mean EVERYWHERE: in shower, closet,bedroom,living room ,donning and the kitchen is the worst. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to rent here not even for a day, this is worst than any motel or hotel for sure

Strange how there are so many 5 star reviews...but truth be told this apartment has several issues. 1. Leasing office are grossly incompetent, several calls to the office and no callbacks after being told there will be. Have to go the leasing office and the staff are clearly irked and hesitant to resolve complaints; generally gives off the impression of laziness. 2. "Pools and gyms" are inaccessible despite them being their selling points. 3. Grounds are filthy, hardly any upkeep around the stairs absolutely trashy. 4. Lack of security in PHASE I, ideally would suggest not walking after dawn due to crime which seems to be a major issue among my neighbors as well as lack of security. Much of the apartment looked "new" don't be fooled, most of my apartment was covered in a new coat of paint and now the tub is peeling off. I wouldn't recommend these apartments due to said complaints. Highly doubt I will complete my lease and pay whatever is required to cancel the lease and get the hell out of here ASAP.
