This was my first apartment after leaving home, and the management that took over in November of last year have driven this place into the absolute ground. There is a ton of crime in the area, and the management could literally not care less. In less than two months both my car and my apartment were broken into, and both times the girl at the front desk kind of blinked at me. Also, when they first took over, they attempted to illegally evict a huge percentage of tenants, not giving enough notice, improperly issuing notices, etc. Also, when I renewed my lease in May and got a new roommate, neither one of us were given current copies of the lease. It also took them almost a month to fix our mailbox, which had been left unsecured for a number of weeks. My roommate has had a number of small items stolen off of our porch, and I know other neighbors have experienced the same thing. He also had his truck towed out of GUEST parking because he didn't have a parking sticker. The office didn't give him a form to request one when he moved in. But, this place is really close to a grocery store, very cheap, and they don't care if you have cats. However, if you can afford to live literally anywhere else, it's worth it. If you want to live in the area, consider the apartments on the other side of Forest and Greenville.
