Serendipity Apartments

It's been awhile since I loved it here. I already knew it was smack dead in the hood but everyone was college kids and we use to use all the amenities and party like rock stars lol. The inside of the apartment we're really nice and the pool was clean every weekend and so was the fire pit. If I was in my twenties I would gladly go back there to live.

the worst placed I have lived.. horrible management and the property is filthy.. Nothing ever works and the girls in the office are too busy eating to do a thing. Never would I even walk near this place... so glad I moved out

Do not move here unless it is your absolute last resort. Roach infested and Maintenance never fixed a damn thing a/c went out during the summer countless times and I have a special needs baby and I took it so seriously that I moved my family out ASAP because we couldn't take it anymore. We finnished our lease there and turned in the key's never bothered to even ask for our deposit back because we didn't want to deal with this place anymore. We were in the moving process where I currently live now and it's been wonderful besides the fact that we had to pay a double deposit because Serendipity claimed we owed them for unpaid utilities and a prorated amount of rent for day's we didn't even stay there and even said we were evicted. When I went up there to adress the issue the manager was never there. For 2 week's I called. The 1st week she was on vacation the 2nd a family situation. All this I discussed with the assistant manager and she couldn't do much for me put advise that we pay the amount and she would have someone look through their record's for the proof that I turned in the key's and the written notice that we were moving and they would refund the amount once they found the proof. Now keep in mind that they didn't even have my name on the last lease renewal and I even brought that proof up to them to show them because they didn't even want to discuss this matter with me at first. I was only unfortunate that I had threw away the only proof I had that shows I signed off when I turned in the key's. The assistant manager was very helpful nothing against her because she actually tried to help me and wasn't rude but this whole establishment is a fruad. You will get eviction notices for amounts of unpaid rent that's by the cent and even for utilities you actually paid but they somehow don't have it in their system. So keep every single money order and receipt given to you because they will misplace it. Even after you move. Btw we were never even contacted about the alleged debt. It wasn't till a year later when we tried to move that we discovered it..

Not bad for the price and location. There is some things that aren’t so great about these apartments. It’s okder complex and does have some bug issues but nothing HORRIBLE. Just buy some spray and on top of the pest control they do, do your own. It’s not great but it’s not that hard to take care of it yourself to keep bugs completely away. Never had any like crime issues for this area which is good. It’s on the ‘better’ end of Park Lane. Meaning like somewhat safer. The new office and management is cool haven’t had any real problems and I like how they been keeping residents informed of things going on by sending out the letters and stuff. Also thought it was very cool how they gave away free turkeys to residents and did the little thanksgiving breakfast thing or whatever. Not a horrible place for the price!
