Just moved in from out of state and my god this place is beautiful and close to a lot. Neighbors are great and the area is ideal walking distance to shops and restaurants. If your looking for a place to call home this is it, definitely my home!!!

I lived at 2707 Shelby for a little over a year. When I first moved in it was great and then the problems started. Even though I was told wifi would be included. It wasn't. My keyfob was only programmed to one door which was a major inconvenience especially since parking can be a nightmare. I had at least 6 carbon monoxide incidents and eventually I had to get a hotel until the problem was fixed. From that day forward, I always kept a window cracked to allow fresh air to get in so I didn't die. Also my unit had a moldy smell. No matter what I did, it wouldn't go away. Work order after work order nothing was done. My sink in the bathroom also had a foul odor. Nothing helped.Good luck with air conditioning and heating. I had an old thermostat so it just ran constantly. I never got a chance to experience the heat. In order to get heat, its up to the community as a whole and once its on its on. The office has weird hours so expect 24hrs for a follow up. The space went through 3 different property managers and it seems like they worse as they went. Towards the end of my lease new people started moving in and the place went to hell. There have been several occasions where doors were kicked in a couple units over from mine. Windows have been broken as well. Packages were stolen off my doorstep. When asked if the footage could be sent to me from the security cameras, I was informed that they weren't recording and then that a tree was blocking the view. There is always glass and trash in the parking lot. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you seriously needed a roof over your head for the low and a short period. Its not worth the head ache.

This place was great until the new management took over a couple of months ago. There is little communication from the office. This is usually in the former of ambiguous notes taped to your door the night before something is done. The office is open two days a week and then not necessarily for the hours posted. No one from management does walk throughs of the complex. If you manage to get a hold of Norma to request something, like a repair in the laundry room or when a supposed install is to be done she says,"I'm sorry. I'm sorry." She then blames corporate and nothing gets done. If you call a second time she plays dumb and give a vague answer. I was told a breaker change, which required a closet to be emptied couple take 40 or so days. A sink that was not broken was ripped out and replaced with and smaller sink. I had to request them to repair the damage to the wall. When it was "repaired" it was not patched and ND only partially painted. I renewed my lease before the takeover and feel I was conned into it. Don't bother calling corporate. They will never respond. Can't wait to leave.
