Times are tough and affecting us all in so many ways and my family wasn't afraid to seek help in times of need such was the time a few weeks ago . Seen a "Flyer " in regards to my daughter's school and district and the events around and there was information that stood right out to me : North Baptist Church giving families in need a box of food .
Thank you GOD . My husband and I went on a Saturday morning after registering and speaking with two absolutely wonderfully kind and helpful women. Once we got there , and gave our registration information, the woman was so sweet, so positive , it struck me right away . Then man told us where to go and then gave us a Bible and a psalm verse. He asked if we needed a prayer for anything... I said "Yes"
He said ok wonderful. . What shall we pray for ?
I responded " for health.. praying for good health " . We bowed our heads, he prayed for our health we all did right there it was such a peaceful moment I will never forget how beautiful it was. As we gave an "Amen " We thanked him for his kindness and for being so helpful as we drove up to a fee people and many boxed and endless infectious smiles - A little boy gave me a candle and was so nice. The rest put a big box in the back seat of our car and two bags. All with a smile and such peace . I could not and still cannot thank everyone for this experience. For food for my family .
For those smiles that just seemed to heal you . I plan on actually going to a Sunday service hopefully with my daughter. Thank you to everyone who helped us that day. Thank you for everyone that smiles at us that day and thank you for a feeling of such serenity. Extremely Thankful. God Bless
