Very thankful for the other guests being safety aware and attentive. After a business dinner when drop off got awkward, parked instead of dropping at the door, a tall biracial man stopped at the entrance door to wait for me to dismiss the man dropping me off. I appreciate that more than I can express. The staff is friendly and the renovation is fresh.

From the Front Desk , housekeeping and the contractors working on the first floor. They could not be more acomidating or friendly. We are having work done on my mom's home. 2 weeks has turned to 3. Being here is like being home, free coffee keeps my elderly mom happy. My dog and cat get treated very well also. Thank you Candlewood in Baytown.

I'm currently staying there. I have a man above me. It sounds like he wastes 400 lb. The noise normally starts about 4:35 in the morning and doesn't end till about 11:00. Normally people out in the hallway hanging out talking. Not a very pleasant experience

We stayed there for two weeks due damage to our home and we had 2 rooms. The hotel was clean and the staff seemed friendly. I had no issues until I checked out. The day after I checked the manager Amy called and said very rudely that all of the dishes was missing from one of the rooms. I told her
they were there when we left. I never cooked during our stay and only use a bowl, glass and spoon. So I don't know what happened to the dishes. She said I need to return them. I told her again I don't have, need or want your dishes. Then she went in to say that my dog torn up the carpet...my dog was kenneled the entire time he was there and we took him out several times a day for potting and exercise. I immediately went back to the hotel to speak with someone, that lady was rude and insulting.The carpet had a snag (I took a picture). I spoke with the owner and while in the room, the guy proceed to tell me that every dish, silverware, pots and pans were missing. I walked over to tell him that when I left they were in the same place they were when I checked in which was in the dishwasher. I reached and opened the dishwasher and it was full of dishes. I gave a him.a puzzled look. Then he goes on to say hotel phone and alarm clock was missing. At the point I'm thinking someone is pranking me. But, he was seriously accusing me of taking all of these things. I said there was no phone or alarm in the room.when I checked in. They are renovated the place and figured they either hadn't gotten around to replacing them or decided not to include them since most use cell phones. He goes on to say all rooms have them. I told him neither of the two rooms I had included. I took him to the other room and showed him. He just brushed it off. Now a 10 days after I leave he charges my card. Basically charging me for something I didn't have and I'm pissed. He is a crook. So BEWARE if you stay there!! I never ever had an experience so terrible. I've been offended and cheated.

We stayed there for almost 6 month and never had a problem except with Amy the front sales manager as she is very unprofessional and very rude. No matter the circumstance she will never admit she is wrong. She will yell at you in front of other guest. I dont know how she has kept her job as long as she has. She treats the owner PR the same way and talks horrible behind his back.
Darby is friendly and gets her job done. PR. the owner is wonderful and very attentive. He is very professional and has a heart of gold. He treats every guest with the utmost kindness.
However my husband had been working 12 hour days for 14 days straight and when he had the next day off he took an ambien that is prescribed to him. While he was sleeping I got up and walked around and took things out of the cupboard and we had just moved rooms the night before and he was walking to our old room and was told he needed to go back to his room at the other end of the hall and the kind lady Shmain walked him to the room. I woke up and took the items he had gotten from the cupboard and apologized and said he took his ambien and walked in his sleep sometimes when hes on it. The next day I was called to the office and was told my husband was drunk and on drugs and they cant have that in the hotel and we need to leave by 12 noon. I explained he wasnt drunk he doesnt drink and wasnt on drugs you could have drug tested him and Amy said no you need to leave or we will call the police.
They definitely havent heard the last from me. The accusations and treatment we received is completely unacceptable.
Noteworthy details: Be ware of Amy she brings her unhappy life to work and takes it out on everyone unless you just agree with her and just say yes Amy!! She is definitely not who I would want to represent my place of business.
