Cold called on my cell regarding a property. I asked the cold caller who the company was and where they were headquartered. He gave me the company name. And then asked, "where are they headquartered?" His response, "We're not allowed to give out that information!" But he wanted to know all about a property that he thought I owned. That's very shady for sure.

These people are predatory and shady. Got a text from some guy named James asking to buy my house. I am on the do not call list. I have not signed up for any lists that indicate I want to sell my house. No idea how he found my number. Inappropriate and intrusive. When a relationship starts out like this, it’s not going to get more professional later on. If you need to sell you house find someone who actually knows what they are doing. If he’s canvassing in this manner, it means his reputation is so bad he can’t get clients in a normal, reputable way. I don’t know if his actions are illegal or just terrible.

Super shady, claiming he's texted me before. They are using a bulk tool to text people, I had to block them.
