I wasn't receiving information on my account as I had hoped. Never got a call back after leaving a message etc. I then decided to have another financial company represent me. I asked Modern Woodmen to transfer the money to this new place. I didn't want any of the money, just transfer it. After a lot of paperwork(of course for security), the accounts were transferred. After taxes that year I received a letter from the IRS saying I owed tens of thousands of dollars. I called my new financial people and the IRS, they looked into it and said that Modern Woodmen didn't do the transfer they actually said I cashed out my accounts!!!!! MW never took responsibility for this horrible experience and months to unravel. I spoke to them and they said oh, we will get to it. What??? The IRS gives a limited time. I guess they were mad I was with someone else. I had to call MW many times to push them do fix the mistake they made!!! Be careful, if you are using them.
