Really nice Marriott property that seems recently updated. Very clean fitness room with newer equipment.
Staff was excellent, hospitable and welcoming. Special shout to a fellow named Vincent, who I believe was the GM, according to his name tag.
Bonus crazy lightning storm was a fun treat!

I visited to drop off some items a guest ordered. It was 4:30 a.m. on a Tuesday. When I came back through the lobby I asked the night clerk if I could use the restroom, and he stated that it was not a public restroom. It's in the lobby. In a hotel. In public. Even had a sign on it to advertise the fact that it was a men's room.
I wasn't quite sure I heard him correctly so I asked again and he said no, it was not a public restroom.
So to help this guy out, I urinated right outside the front door on the rocks. No need to thank me, but now this facility does have a public restroom, so to speak.
I'm a Marriott bonvoy Gold elite member, on the verge of Platinum elite, which is nothing to brag about really. However, this d-bag just guaranteed that I will forego staying at any Marriott property in the future. What kind of person would do this? In the middle of the night? I drive a late model Infiniti and I can say with confidence that I have never been confused with street trash (except once in New Orleans... long story). I'm going to guess he's not from here. Probably effing California. I guess the tardling missed that day in night clerk class that mentioned what the word hospitality means.
