Had a lovely experience getting my hair done before a wedding. I didn’t have a picture or anything but the stylist listened to me and gave me a perfect look for my style.

Blo Domain came highly recommended as a place that can do African-American 4C hair, so I made an appointment three weeks in advance using their website. In the description of my services, I explained that I am African-American, I have 4C hair, and that I would be taking my hair out of braids in preparation for my appointment. They took my credit card information and booked the appointment. Less than 24 hours before my appointment, when I had already taken out my braids in preparation for my appointment, they called to tell me that I had too much hair and that my appointment with take too long and they needed to reschedule. They could not give me a slot that same day, nor could they ever give me a Saturday slot, because the stylist, Shaun, who does African-American 4C hair, does not work on Saturdays. Ever. My appointment was for a Saturday. And rather than tell me that the one person who does AA 4C hair wasn’t in, they made up some excuse about my having too much hair (which they had never seen because I had never been there before) and my appointment taking too long to finish in the time slotted. Did I mention that it was memorial day weekend? So I had taken my hair out of braids, had a cancelled appointment, and found myself calling around on the Saturday of MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND to find a stylist at the last minute. Of course everyone was booked. They made no attempt to assist me. They offered no apology only another appointment the following week on a weekday (when I work). They couldn’t even recommend any stylists who accept walk-ins.With a performance to attend on Sunday night (which is why I booked on a Saturday), I was just screwed for the weekend. I am NEVER engaging this establishment again. The name suits them. Blo BLOWS. Service: Hairstyling
