I was completely impressed by the personal service and welcome I received at this financial institution i.e. Broadway Bank. After looking at several other banks in the area I visited this one and immediately knew this was the bank for me. From auto loans to personal financial assistance it has everything The overall draw was the personal service, it was amazing. Thank you Broadway Bank

I showed up today to cash a check at this bank, the check was from a customer and family member of mine.. I don't bank here! (And would never!). I approached the teller "Chase", I gave him my ID and the check for 6,000 he was taking his time as he felt I was robbing the place (and yes I'm Hispanic) after about 15mins or so of me standing around and him pacing back and forth to the phone, he came to the conclusion that he was not going to be able to cash the check.. after I aksed why he said the check was flagged or questioned due to some things.. he put me in contact -over the phone- with his "bank manager" Brad which wasn't even at the location, Brad was very rude and not accommodating at all, he went on to say that he needed to get ahold of the check maker to verify the sequence number and signature on the check?!... how is that any different from what I was asking which was that everything is filled out correctly and I have the proper identification, they can't verify a signature over the phone and not everyone writes checks consecutively in sequence, and some make voided out ones as well. Clearly we have an issue with disdiscrimination here!!.. the poor Hispanic guy is trying to fraud or scheme the system. This place is horrible and the worse customer service, please take your money else where.

I love that this is a local-ish bank (based in San Antonio) and they are super responsive and always friendly. Convenience can be an issue (not open Saturday mornings and lack of locations in North Austin) BUT that is a small price to pay for the personal service we always receive. This is my bank for life.
