BuenaVista at Riata

I have lived here at Buena Vista for just a few days and I already can’t wait for my lease to be up. When we moved in the place was very poorly cleaned, I’m talking about dirty floors, stains and patch jobs visible on the walls. Numerous dead bugs, dirty bathroom tiles. Apartments are old and it shows just about everywhere. When moving into a new apartment you want your experience to be an exciting one, you won’t get that here. I feel stupid for having signed a 14 month lease at this apartment. Don’t make the same mistake as me. The amenities are good but you can do better for your money elsewhere.

We love this apartment complex, our village and our managers Jonathan and Algae. Jonathan is always an email away from answering any questions, and Algae sends out awesome email blasts keeping us updated on events and occurrences in our complex. We renewed our lease and will renew again depending on how much our rent increases. We know the rates are based on the market and come down from corporate so nothing our managers can manipulate for us no matter how much the increase. Austin pricing is just getting so outrageous and we don't forsee finding a better price for the quality we have here. Maintenance is swift even with so many units to cover and the few times we've needed pest control they've always done a good job. Both maintenance and pest leave notes which we appreciate. The gym is awesome except it just closed for repairs for a while which is kind of a bummer but it'll be nice when it's finished. The main pool rocks and each village had it's own pool too. Honestly no complaints at all so far, we love it and would definitely recommend it.
