Pepperwood Apartments

I've had a handful of landlords in the past couple decades of living in Austin. Pete is easily the best. You just won't find someone more responsive, communicative and flexible. You are within short walking distance to both Brentwood and Northwest parks. No carpet, always a plus. Catch some old Austin before it disappears.

I lived at Pepperwood for just over 3 years, and the only reason I moved was because I took a job out of state. Otherwise there's a good chance I would have been like one of my neighbors and lived there for over 25 years!I love the location (you cant' go wrong being right across the fence from The Frisco), the reasonable rent, the charm of a building that has more character than a new cookie cutter apartments, the attentiveness of Pete and his crew, and the overall peace and quietness of the complex. When I worked downtown the Rapid line bus stop right at the corner of Justin and Burnet made it super easy to commute. I also love that I wasn't renting from a huge corporate, faceless, leasing agency; if I had an issue I knew it was being addressed by someone who had an actual interest in how the property was doing. Pete even hardscaped the back patio and put in rain capture barrels so that I could have a container garden and my dog wouldn't get muddy (the area was under trees so grass refused to grow). A huge thank you to Pete and Pepperwood for a wonderful rental experience!!!

The little gem of north Austin. Loved living here. Being a responsible pitbull owner trying to find a new place to live means getting letters of recommendation from past landlords about your dogs behavior. I met Pete (the property manager) to look at the place with all my letters and vet approved forms and all Pete wanted was to meet him. That's huge for pitbull owners in Austin, zero breed bs. After being turned away by multiple apartments this was a huge. The apartment was perfect, so perfect in fact that by the end of four years I was there - my boyfriend had moved in with his cat cause he fell for it too. From the pool to the laundry room to the location and price, this place is beyond perfect! Pete is fantastic and his team is helpful and fast for whatever the issue. Made friends with my neighbors, I love Lenore! This place is seriously a gem. I miss living here!! P.S. loved this place so much I got my mom an apartment there, Pete was incredibly accommodating and made her feel safe and at home. She loves it.
