I think the apt is great. Just wish the maintenance service is crape. My past apt complex would do what it took to help us out no matter what. Also when I'd renew my lease at my last apt they redid the carpet and painted the walls for free. I pay 900 a month for this place and it seems like a lazy system. I paid 490 for my last and they treated all their customers like kings and queens. Step up your apt game woodmead!! Thanks.

I live there and the payment system is crap. There are always problems that can never be resolved. Ever is in your hands. And you end up paying late fees absurd by their mediocrity in the system

I went into this apartment expecting the worst, it's an older complex in a bad part of town so I had low expectations. Overall I would say that my year here has gone well and my experience was positive. I rented the smaller 1 bedroom floorplan, on the first floor in building 4 (near the pool/office). Pros: - Everyone in the office and maintenance staff has been great and nice, except for Sky who I've continually gotten attitude and false information from since before I even moved in - The part of the complex I was in was pretty quiet, never had loud parties or disturbances - Never had any break-ins or crime effect me, though other parts of the complex has had police called for domestic violence, drunk drivers totaling cars, break-ins - Pool is usually open (unless being treated/cleaned) and not terribly full most days, I've also never heard pool noise despite being the closest build to it - Maintenance is usually quick, and if your older appliances aren't working right they will get replaced with newer ones - Trees all around the complex, it makes it look nicer and more natural but some do release sap so it can make your car a mess Cons: - Sometimes I have no idea I have packages waiting for me, because mailmen/staff don't always leave notes - Laundry facility often has several broken machines, usually marked by tenants as Out of Order, but not always. There is also not a coin changing machine so you have to go get quarters somewhere else to use the machines ($1.25/machine) - Depending on the occupancy/time of day, parking can be challenging and you may have to park pretty far from your building - People don't clean up after their dogs, not only leaves a mess but a smell a lot of the time - If you have noisy neighbors above you, you will hear them constantly. Not so much with next door neighbors on your same floor. - Older appliances/AC/electric heating meant my electric bill was higher (almost doubled) than I've ever paid for larger apartments - Everyone is required to pay $41 for Time Warner Cable on top of/due with their rent - One or more tenants have hit/totaled parked cars and had no consequences (watch out for a grey Honda Pilot) - Sometimes get charged for damage that was questionable/not shown evidence for upon move-out (no photos shown) - If maintenance work has to be contracted out it might take a long time to get done and leave a mess - Ground was not leveled before building these apartments so some apartment floors are wonky/tilted, the driving areas are not very wide or level
