Cannon South Apartments

I work near by and am looking for residency South. Unfortunately I cannot find any pricings on the website for an efficiency or 1 bedroom apartment.

I moved in 4 months ago and have had a wonderful experience so far! I needed something in South Austin that was close to 35, had all the amenities nearby, and was in my price range. Let me tell you-I lucked out! The complex manager, Marie, is kind, professional, and very quick to respond. She and Hector, the head maintenance man, work very hard to keep the complex in great shape-it certainly feels like home! The complex is a bit older than the luxury apartment homes that are popping up all over the city, but don’t let that deter you. The buildings are very soundproof-I hardly ever hear my neighbors. Everyone is friendly and mostly keep to themselves. If you’re a gamer, Google Fiber is a definite plus! The surrounding neighborhood is growing by leaps and bounds. South Congress is one giant construction zone, with a new HEB Plus opening in the spring along with many new restaurants and shops nearby. South Park Meadows is a few short minutes away, and there are new housing developments a few blocks south. The only concern I have is the lack of visitor parking. That being said, there is plenty of parking available for residents. As a music teacher and working musician, I often find myself getting home in the early hours of the morning and have always been able to find a spot fairly close to my place. I feel very safe and happy living here. Check out Cannon South!

Wow! The Third floor has a great view and I feel very safe since the owner has cameras. Las Delicias right next door, $7 Lyft to downtown. Walking distance to everything including my favorite store in the world, HEB!

Complex now has a new manager and she is allowing the complex to go down hill quickly. Work orders are not being processed. Maintenance is awful. She has no clue on how to manage a property. All the good residents that have been here for years are now planning to leave. Save your time, money and the constant headaches to come.
