image Been with Suddenlink for 20 yrs. internet only. Currently offering new customers 1-gigabit internet for 50 a month. Yet, I've been paying them 100 or more for 400 megs per second. Rarely does my bandwidth ever hit more than 300 Mbps despite my modem and router being able to handle more. They insist on price gouging people simply because options are limited despite living in the middle of a city. I cannot justify 100 dollars a month just to watch youtube especially when I can do that on my phone. Cancelling tomorrow, screw suddenlink.

image Don’t walk away from this company, RUN as fast as you can!!! This is the worst company I have ever dealt with!!! I wouldn’t even give them 1 star, but I had to just to do a review. The representatives they have no clue what they are doing. I have been back and forth with this company for 3 days now. On the phone for hours with no resolution yet. All their stories keep changing and no one seems to be able to fix my problem. I simply Wanted to upgrade from 400 MB to 1 gig and that seems to be an issue for them to understand. They have upgraded my services on their end so I can be charged for the one gig but can’t seem to give me one gig service. I guess they didn’t think I would do a speed test to check what services I’m really getting. The first technician that came out did not even change out my modem for the one that I needed for the one gig and did not install my Suddenlink stream box instead just left it on my table and said there’s instructions in there on how to set it up. And now I have called back and request that someone come out here and change the modem like they’re supposed to I’m having to wait even more days without my service just to get a technician out here to do the job that they were supposed to do the first time. It took me asking 6 times to speak to a supervisor before the representative would transfer me to them.

image Lied about a best buy gift card promotion, and refused to work with me on my bill. even though were in a pandemic and they signed a program, saying they would not disconnect those in need. terrible customer service, and pays ATT to throttle there internet speed so your stuck. to go with only sudden link. They are held accountable to nobody nor do they care about any customer they have.
Before the pandemic I never had a issue paying the bill, its just messed up how some companies can be

image Worst. Company. Ever. If I could rate zero stars, I would. Charged me an EXTRA $300 one month for exceeding my bill limit after I had gone online (per their directions) to upgrade my plan, and it apparently didn't work, even though I got the confirmation email. The next month I deployed, and was charged an additional $100 - could not even tell you what for because I was so angry I didn't even try to fight it. Have tried calling their customer service line mulitple times and it always seems that I don't understand how the service works and they screw me out of more money. If you can get any other company I recommend it. Do not subject yourself to their incompetence.
