American State Bank; Let me tell you a story, about a year ago I was working a deal on an investment property. Looking to pick up a rental that had sold two years ago and was not making the new owner any cash flow due to lack of management. (he had moved out of state) No eyes on it. The tenant living had moved out and his brother was living there for the past six months with no rental income being produced. So you kind of get the feel where this is going right... Thinking the seller would like to get something going a cash offer was the way to go. The I investor hit up several banks with little luck. ASB has deep roots in Abilene and does not package and sell of mortgages the investor met with the loan department, secured the cash to close the deal at a price that that both parties agreed to. Closed in less that seven days.  I'd like a few more deal like that..
