Our salesman was amazing! He couldn't have done a better job!
As far as our new home, we are very disappointed and very aggravated! There are a lot of things that we KNOW they did or didn't do that they aren't stepping up to fix.
Even the setup crew didn't connect our septic properly. The day they moved our home onto our land, they ran over our septic line. Plus, the man that Clayton hired to install the footers and prepare our land also ran across our septic line. Also, we had requested our home be set on a different spot on our land. The person preparing our land didn't place footers in the spot that we requested. He also didn't clear our land like we were told he would. We asked that the remnants that were left from the prior home on our property burned down to be pushed to a different spot. It was not. Also, the steps they finally brought us to use are a safety hazard. Only one handrail, plus they weren't leveled out, and the set they put at our back door were not placed correctly either. You walk out the back door and literally would fall out the back door. Instead of placing them safely and properly, they just set them out and were just left that way. ( We have both fell off the steps.)
We found so many things not properly done(other things not even done at all). We are extremely disappointed and aggravated.
We just moved into our new home in August of 2023, and it's now March of 2024, and our list still continues to grow.
The appearance is VERY deceiving. But now we have our eyes open, and our list continues to grow. If we could send it back and replace it, we would.
Please do your research before considering Clayton Homes! Clayton Homes aren't even close to being the quality of the homes that they adverise they should be. They DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORD. And their homes are NOT up to standard.

All the homes are gorgeous, nicely decorated and you can look without any pushy salesman following you or making you feel as if you don't belong. I will definitely return as soon as I am ready to purchase
