I had great nurses on the third floor except for one. I kept telling her my iv was burning and the last time I said it she told me to stop being a baby. Well when the night nurse came on, my hand and arm was swollen to twice the size. She immediately pulled the iv out and next thing I know blisters started breaking out all on the lower part of my arm. Turns out the iv infiltrated so bad that the fluid had no place to go. I wish I knew the nurses name that told me to stop acting like a baby. I would report her. Needless to say I won't be going back to Blount for fear of either getting her again as my nurse or getting another nurse like her.

Was very very sick and showed up at emergency one night. After careful attentive treatment went home with helpful recommendations and ease of tension and symptoms. Treatment by some of the most helpful and professional Drs, nurses and techs. Having little experience with being sick and the hospital world; the caring, support and direction has been a lifeline. Many thanks to everyone who has helped me.

I have had problems with this hospital in the past. Have been reluctant to use it. But, recently had surgery to remove a kidney stone there. That is when I met the most Amazing doctor who caused me to rethink my opinion of the entire hospital. This outstanding person is Dr Brown an anesthesiologist. I can not say enough good thinks about her!!! She changed my mind about this hospital.

Dr Roe in ER is the most thorough, empathetic Dr I have ever encountered at any hospital. Tina and Rose in the breast center treated me with great care and compassion. Thank you!
