Dr Crutcher seems to be a decent doctor - good patient skills and knowledgeable. However, Family Medical Associates is living in the last century. I needed an x-ray. The x-ray system they used is something I haven't seen since the early 1980's (film instead of digital x-rays). If you aren't using digital technology for x-rays then you are (A) exposing patients to more radiation than necessary and (B) likely going to miss something you would have seen with modern technology. My last appointment required a one hour wait before seeing anyone. Seems a bit long to me for a "scheduled" appointment.
Reply to response: I know what a digital X-Ray system looks like and what an old school film cassette system from decades ago looks like (I used to install/service medical X-Ray systems). The X-Ray I received was NOT digital.

Please do not go to this place I had one appointment thinking it went ok Dr. Reed ordered some blood work after a week I called and left message they called back blood work not in yet. Its now been over 2 weeks I have heard nothing so I will be finding another doctor. I have one medical concern and I feel he just is like to hell with it. So I will take my business else where. It does not take over 2 week for simple blood work.

I used to love this location before my assigned PCP, Dr. Crutcher, didnt have availability to see me and I had to see the first available provider which was Doctor James Reed.
Upon meeting, he immediately stated his bias against modern medicine and showed his lack of competence by refusing to read anything on a computer screen. He literally makes his nurses waste paper by printing off EVERYTHING as a hardcopy for him to read because he doesnt realize were no longer living in the 1970s. He should seriously consider retiring now because his lack of bedside manner and fascist behavior creates a hostile environment for patients and nurses alike. The way he treats his nurses and patients is so disgusting. My experience was so awful that I cannot go into great detail because I am in the process of filing a formal complaint.
If you are new and assigned to him, I would seriously reconsider. He is single-handedly RUINING the integrity and reputation of this longstanding office within the community. I will never return to this location. I recommend to RUN; not walk.

This place is SO SLOW! Should not take an hour for a doctor to check on you in the patient room once youre called back. If you arent ready, leave people in the waiting room.
