Management is despicable. These are PUBLIC streets but their gestapo cop that they have living here puts stickers on windows of cars that are LEGALLY PARKED on the street in the middle of the day. I had furniture delivered so I parked on the street for 2 hours and came out to see a sticker on my window, threatening to tow my car. Did the dirty cop even have the decency to use a vinyl sticker? Of course not, that would make sense but the cop here and the office "people" have no common sense.

I recently moved into the property and my experience has been great. I love the neighborhood, the property is well maintained and maintenance has been great. I love to see people outside walking, running, kids playing and everyone has been amazingly nice.

Since moving here...I have enjoyed the fact that the Cottages of Mt. View, bring in food trucks for the community. I love the fact that maintenance requests are handled promptly with a follow up. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. Great neighborhood!

Quiet neighborhood, felt safe, nice sidewalks to walk your pets or children to play, decent sized transitional rental homes for us while we researched where to settle down in Nashville area. We had a nice backyard view / deck so I loved sitting outside, until the carpenter bees ruined it for months. Tried to work with the leasing office / PEST control but unfortunately they never went away.
At first the price seemed reasonable for what you get, but they tack on extra monthly fees that add up. My suggestion, submit a PEST request all the time and get your moneys worth lol. The garbage situation is odd too; I was in part of the neighborhood that picked up during the week and if we forgot to bring our cans in by early the next morning, we got a warning / possible fee. But the majority of the property picks up on Friday so those lucky residents don't get garbage can fees on Saturdays because the office is closed on Saturdays! But we ALL got plenty of reminder emails to bring the cans up by Saturday morning.
Everyone is nice, polite and helpful at the leasing office (when they answer you). Every single time I emailed a question, verification, provided documentation of something, I had to send multiple follow up emails to verify they even got my request (like moving out early). I finally walked to the office to confirm they got my 60 day notice to break our lease early. Even phone calls they take forever to call back. Just seems odd.
Oh and don't forget your house key after office hours because the "emergency maintenance request hotline" does not include being locked out of the house. I was told to call a locks smith... which I did not, came up with plan C.
