image This just may be the worst hotel I have ever stayed at and I have travelled extensively, for over 50 years, stayed in literally hundreds of hotels, all over the world.
First: the room had two remotes for the TV. I went to the front desk to ask for instructions, i.e Why 2 remotes? The night attendant knew nothing. I determined that only one remote was necessary but it was nearly useless because most of the lettering near the buttons were worn off, not readable. Several times, while trying to watch a program, a warning message would pop up on the screen suggesting a complete loss of signal, then, of course the program would stop.
Second: You can hear every noise in every adjacent room. The room next to ours played the TV extremely loud then shut it off at about midnight. Next I could hear the guy snoring, loud, through the doors, all night.
Third: There was talking, yelling. laughter coming from various rooms until about 2 AM.
Fourth: At 3:30AM someone pounded on the door across the hall and shouted to the occupant that she was leaving because she had to be at work at 6 AM
Fifth: Someone was rolling a very noisy cart down the hall at about 3 AM.
Sixth: There were virtually no cars in the parking lot but someone came roaring into the parking lot to pick up a young grill and then speed off. ( Loud mufflers) About midnight.
Seventh: Two guys walked by my room window, in the parking lot, about midnight, talking loudly. Very suspicious.
Eighth: The pictures attached illustrate the lavatory sink, (It was filthy) the tub caulk ( It was a mess.) The room refrigerator, the door gasket was torn so the thing ran all night. The worn out TV remote.
With all of the commotion and suspicious behavior I was literally worried about our safety. I did not sleep all night, we left early in the morning.
Next day, during our trip through South Dakota, I mentioned our disappointment with the Cheyenne River Motel, and the locals at other retail establishments all immediately knew about the reputation of the Cheyenne River Motel and some commented they had heard of suspicious, illegal activities. One person stated they would sleep in their car before they would ever sleep in a room there.
Recommendation: DO NOT stay at this hotel. It is dirty, and unsafe and definitely not worth $100.
Safety: This is NOT a safe place to stay.

image Smart TV's in every room. Decent internet speeds, I was able to get all of my reports and computer work every night with no issues. Thin walls though, can hear other guests sneeze from their rooms even.

image I requested a refund, very reluctant to give it back. Then to say my son better book his own room, and show up in person. And basically told me that they no longer take my payment over the phone or was it, they're no longer taking 3rd party payments because incident with me, (the nerve I ask for refund) Very, very poor management. Case by case service, I'm obviously not anyone important, they not interested in doing business with me or my son. I an enrolled member. It was very humiliating experience, like a,spit in my face. It was outright discrimination and prejudice, something I thought i just saw in movies. It was very disheartening and shocking.
Rooms: No comment, especially knowing ppl are allowed it's a temporary shelter for selective people
