I would NOT recommend this place! They (Todd) did a horrible job for my mother-in-law's funeral. They were very unprofessional, not helpful, unaccommodating, inconsiderate and my mother-in-law looked horrible. This review does not stop with me. Many of the family members are upset with the way my 99 year old mother-in-law was celebrated. There is other options than this place, go find them!

Todd was extremely helpful in the entire process with my uncle in beginning of 2021. Very compassionate person and knowledgeable and willing to help in any way he can. Highly recommend Heartland!

Was told to mail me a death certificate and didn't anyway. Then said I was lying it was not said. Not business like at all. Bad record keeping and heartless should be there name.

Whoever they have driving the Cadillac escalades and the black Cadillac car today almost caused several accidents on the inner state as they were racing through traffic tail gating and cutting people off.

Todd and staff, I am not sure I can thank you enough for the care that you gave me and my family during the difficult time of losing my husband unexpectedly. Todd spent over 2 hours of his vacation to talk us through what to expect, what was needed, and that he had our backs with everything. His attention to detail made this difficult situation a little easier. You and your staff's compassion and thoughtfulness through this brought great comfort to us all.
Todd went above and beyond to make Blaines celebration of life a beautiful memory especially because it fell around the holidays. Todd did everything and more to help get the military service that my husband deserved. This made for a very moving funeral/military service.
You are a special person to do what you do and a lot of my family and friends commented on how the beautiful the service was.
Not only did Todd take care of my husband and his service, but back in 2016 and 2018 he handled when my in-laws passed away in Sioux Falls and he prepared their bodies for transport back to Bison, SD.
I highly recommend Todd and his staff at Heartland Funeral Home in Brandon, SD.
