image Lost one of my valve stem covers after having forester serviced at Vic Bailey in Spartaburg, all of them were loose. Went today to get replacement and they gave me a black one, does not match the others.Would like for them to send one that came on my new Subaru. Called last week and no one would return my call. This issue has been taken care of, Thank you Jay!

Easy transaction mainly done through email. Everything was transparent without any surprises.
Both Shannon's and the Dasha's lengthy experience was evident and beneficial. Dasha volunteered to redo all the paperwork once he saw it would be more beneficial to make some changs to way title was setup.
Car was in perfect shape upon arrival. All paperwork was sent over a day before to preview.
This is the way car purchasing / leasing should be.
Follow up review March 2022.
Our daughter just bought a hard to find Crosstrek from Shannon (who found it for us!) Experienced again the incredible service from VB and Shannon. Not only is she a great hlep during the purchase, but continues with professional follow up after the sale. She's there to help with our needed out of state registration and questions on the car. This is level of customer service is very unusual in today's world. VB - you got a good one with Shannon.

image The overall experience was as good as I expected. I read the reviews for Vic Bailey's Subaru and for the most part they are highly rated.
I was a cash buyer and expected the process to go very quickly. I am sure it did, compared to having to take a loan out and do all that paperwork on top of what I had to do. The transaction still took about 2 hours. I had no trade in to deal with either.
I did not experience any high pressure sales tactics like I was subjected to at some other Subaru dealerships. Vic Bailey does offer a lifetime driveline warranty on new car purchases, which I especially appreciate. They did offer a 3 year maintenance plan, that after I heard what all it included, I decided to go ahead and lock in my maintenance prices at todays rates.
My salesperson was Genaro Maldonado-Pulido. He did an excellent job in answering any and all questions I had concerning the car and the purchase.
I bought the 2022 Subaru Legacy XT Touring model. It is a fantastic automobile. It has all the safety features you could want and is rated 5 star+ by the safety institute. You really feel safe behind the wheel. I have spoken to several EMT's and when they came upon Subaru crashes they are amazed how well the occupants fare in some really severe crashes.
This car is fast. Do not ask me how I know. Let's just say I researched it out. It does not return bad mpg ratings even though it has a turbo and a top speed of 149 mph. It also burns regular gas. No need for premium. Subaru says it will do 32 mpg on a trip. When I drive it on 55 mph roads, and am not speeding, I can easily get 34-35 mpg. I find this utterly amazing. Come up with another car that will do 149 mph, is all wheel drive and burns regular gas. I know my cars and I can not think of another one.
I appreciate the 11.5" vertical screen. Being 70 years old, my vision is not as good as it was at 20. The heated and ventilated seats are, in my book, a necessity in SC. I can start the car using the iphone app and set the temperature, etc. so when I get into the car the seats are not on fire! The seats are Nappa leather too. The app also will let you see the car's location and you can set up alerts to notify you of the car leaving a designated location and exceeded speed limits you set. The 12 speaker, 576 watt Harmon/Kardon surround sound system is awesome! It has Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Satellite Nav system.
Needless to say, I think this is a love affair that will last for many years.
