My husband and I tried this place out for date night last night. Not sure what we were expecting but the location was pretty convenient to downtown rock hill.
Food- the food was just okay for us. There was really nothing wrong with it; it just wasnt exciting. I saw the sign that indicates its southern-costa rican fusion but I didnt see anything that made me think that was the case. Mainly southern but with rotisserie chicken. The chicken was tender. I got the fries and okra which were good too. My husband got the chicken bowl which we both thought was just okay. We also got the chicharrones and guac to start. These were good when they were tender. Some of the pieces were so hard you couldnt chew them.
Service- our server was very nice and prompt. I never got offered a refill is my only complaint.
Atmosphere - nice location and close to a lot of things. The bar was definitely having fun!

Let me start with the good stuff. I think the pig skins were really good and had a lot of flavor. The Bar is having a pretty good time from what I see.
Heres where you lost me. We seated ourselves and the server was relatively prompt; unfortunately her attitude was kind of awkward and rude as were most of the staff.
I got my meal and my vegetables were kind of cold and bland. The chicken was decent but it kind of tasted like it had been sitting for a little; very lukewarm and bland. Not to mention the sauted onions were just raw onions.
Dont think Ill be back but it was worth a try. Seems kind of like they need actual wait staff and not just have your bartenders pick up the slack.
