Meh but MUSC usually makes me feel like I'm just an account # they can try and squeeze more money out of. I don't feel like I was cared for as an individual and I'm definitely still having the same problem that I went to them for in the first place. No help to me.

The worst experience. I called MUSC to schedule a visit with a Urologist specializing in a specific issue I was having last year. The one who was there apparently moved, so the scheduling assistant scheduled me with a different Urologist. When Doctor Clarke arrived to the patient room, I showed him my documentation as to why I was there and he told me that I wasted my time, that he wasnt the right doctor to see for my specific issue, that he only focused on cancer related issues. So ive been disputing this charge of $224 for a doctor to tell me he couldnt help me & urine analysis that I never submitted. I disputed my claim through the billing department, and now receiving a final notice to pay up with nothing else that can be done. All of which could have been prevented if the scheduler had scheduled me with the right physician who specialized in my treatment in the first place. MUSC has been nothing short of a headache, the Patient outreach "Liaison" wont answer their phone, billing department wont do anything about it. Simply out of pocket for an hour of my time with no treatment or labs performed, and all they will tell you is to go to their in-house liaison (who wont do anything about it) to file a complaint. Stay away from this place.

This place is amazing. I was seen by Dr. Eric Rovner and his staff. In just my first visit I felt I was in a different world. Lots of communication from the doctor and staff explaining their procedures and testing. I came all the way from Columbia after getting the recommendation from a local nurse. I would highly recommend.

I have been dealing with MUSC for 8 years and all of my experiences have been top notch. This was by far my worst ever experience with MUSC. From scheduling all the way up. I Had procedure done back in January. About a week and a half after the procedure i was experiencing a lot of pain and swelling. Called and emailed numerous times before i could get a response. I finally got in for an appointment about a week after my last call. Fast forward 3 months it's time to drop off a sample. I speak with scheduling and they tell me the doctor will be there and to have the sample there by 3pm on Wednesday. I show up Wednesday, drop said sample and get a call as I'm walking out of the building telling me that the doctor isn't there and that I will have to come back another day to drop off. So, I have to go and get another sample cup. Lady tells me that scheduling should have checked with them first before giving me the go ahead.
