We took the Coastal Discovery kayak tour. Mark knows the wildlife and area well, so we learned a lot. He informed us of the kayak choices (pros & cons of each type), as well as which route we took. We opted to see if we could see any dolphins by heading to/near the ICW. We lucked out and saw a dolphin. Beautiful area to explore. I recommend taking this tour. It's also nice having a guide because you learn a lot & don't have to worry about getting stuck because you're not familiar with the local tides.

Dolphins galore. Some came within 10 yards. About the easiest kayak trip we've done. After instructions were give the total time on water was about an hour and 20 minutes. Do this at low tide, you get to see so much more wildlife.

My husband and I booked our kayak tour though the Coastal Discovery Museum. This adventure does not disappoint!
Mark starts out with a tutorial about kayaking and how to enjoy the sport safely. Once you’re on the water, you’re traveling through such an incredible wildlife habitat-all types of birds, crabs, oysters and the best of all...DOLPHINS!
Mark makes the experience; it’s a blast and very educational. The wildlife encounters you may experience are unlike anything else because you’re right in their habitat while they’re just going about their lives.
Definitely book a kayak tour, you will not regret it!
