We certainly the first week of April 2024. Rooms were lovely and all of the staff we interacted with were wonderful. Our experience at the Vista Bar and grill was so bad, however, I wish I could review it separately, because otherwise the resort is great and always has been.
We waited, and waited, and waited for food. In all, we were there over 3 hours. 2 of them spent waiting for overpriced food that never arrived. We learned one kitchen was handling 3 restaurants. I can't say that that was the reason, but it was offered as an exasperated explanation when we asked to cancel our order. I was appalled to find I was charged the same amount for both virgin and alcoholic daiquiris.
Found the poolside chairs often reserved with towels that never saw humans, so those could be better tended to allow others to sit.
In all, the people and property are what you'd expect, but the food service leaves a lot to be desired.

Overall, we enjoyed the resort. There were many pools for the children to enjoy. The view from our room was nice. Rooms could have been cleaned better as well as the hot tub. I'm a bit disappointed about the extra charges for breakfast and beach umbrellas and chairs. Thankfully, we had brought our own. There were also fees to enjoy the fire pits throughout the resort

Wow! I am supriseddd!! I am at westin resort right now and encountered mind bogling situation. The bar tender did not want to give his attention to us but he gave a service right next to us(white). We have to call a waitress from a distance to serve us and when she ask him to go he gave her a signal to take care off us. I have never seen in a classy resort like this that a service persons can bring you down like this????
Rooms: Rooms are okay but not spacious i have experienced in Ritz/IHG

Nice facilities and ok service. Rooms are tight though. The resort is simply not worth it from a value perspective. Even with Marriott Ambassador status, the amount of points for the room was way too high especially considering the extra charges. Resort fee doesnt actually include anything since they charge for everything and tack on service charges for those. Better value elsewhere on HHI. Upgrades were supposedly unavailable despite plenty of availability on the Bonvoy app. Overall, an incredibly disappointing week. Only positives are that its dog friendly and service, when around, was pleasant.
