I just graduated from here in 2021, all around I must say this was a great school. It’s not the easiest place to be, but that’s just part of it, it teaches you how to deal with adversity from any standpoint and overcome it. I went here for my 9th, 10th, and 12th grade years, and this place really saved me, and I’m forever thankful for that. I was able to get accepted to a few universities such as Appalachian State University, and University of Tampa coming out of here, and was provided with all the tools necessary to do that. I’ve learned so much from the great men who work here such as CSM Irtenkauf who was my tac officer during my time here. The commandant LTC. Lawing was not always the easiest person to deal with, however he’s always fair and straight forward, being here from 9th to 12th grade I’ve seen him implement a lot of changes at the school, and seeing them now from a 3rd person perspective I must say they were for the best, and the man is hardworking, great at his job, and definitely someone to respect. Overall this is a great, and affordable school, and I would honestly recommend it to anyone who wants to change themselves for the better.

I am a mom of two boys who have attended Camden Military Academy. My oldest son, graduated from Camden this past fall. He attended the academy in the junior and senior years of his high school. He had many problems in traditional high school and needed challenge and structure. We decided to enroll him into Camden during this Junior year was the best thing for him. He grew within months of being in the school in every aspect. Not only academically but also his entire well being. He became very independent mature and confident in his daily walk in life. He showed compassion toward his parents and much appreciation to us as well others around him. My son graduated with honors, 3rd in his class and will be attending Texas A&M in the engineering program in the fall and won a 3 year ROTC scholarship. I give this success to his hard work and the great academic and structured program at Camden.
As we looked at his progress, we decided this past year to also send his youngest brother to spend his 7th grade to Camden. Which was also a very good decision. Having his older brother there, to help him get acquainted with settled was very good for my younger son. He grew as well and has become a very independent, thoughtful and mature young man as well. He has decided to go back to Camden to spend his 8th grade year, and that makes me very happy. He not only has grown academically and independently as his big brother has. I am certain that sending him back for 8th grade will be an excellent choice for his academically growth.
Overall I am very happy to have two sons attend Camden Military Academy and recommend this school to other families who may be looking for a good academic, structured program for their sons.
