When we arrived for check in we found that our cottage was not cleaned AT ALL. The bed was clearly slept in, linens not washed, a pile of towels in the bathroom, still stuff in the fridge from the previous guest, and dirty glasses in the dishwasher. We then had to wait over an hour for the cottage to be cleaned. This was an even bigger issue as we timed our travel perfectly so that our son could nap once we arrived so that went out the window. There were also marks all over the walls from what looks like carrying furniture? I believe the cottages just recently went into use for the first time only weeks prior to our stay so I don't understand how it could have gotten so beat up in such a short amount of time. There were kitchen floor boards missing which leads me to believe the project was rushed and quality was sacrificed. The lock on the front door had to be lifted up with a lot of force for it to actually work. One of our neighbors walking by actually had to show us how to lock/unlock our door. He also disclosed that he was without hot water for the first few days of his stay and numerous cottages had in-window A/C units to compensate for the fact that the central air in the units did not work. This is another example how everything was just throw together at the last minute. Either that or the people who were hired to install the A/C units were incompetent. Our step in front of our place was also severely slanted to the point where I almost tripped on it. When we had the initial issue with our cottage being dirty we encountered the manager who was perfectly nice but clearly flustered and possibly in over her head as she was in charge of a place that was rushed to completion. She said she had a bunch of AMEX gift cards back in the office and could offer us one to compensate for the issue. The fact that all these gift cards existed shows that they were well aware of the complaints about to roll in. I was insulted by the $50 gift card offer when you consider the level of incompetence shown in addition to how much it costs per night to stay there. I understand there are usually kinks to be worked out when opening up a hotel, restaurant, etc but this seemed excessive. Regardless of that I would definitely not stay here again nor recommend it to anyone.

Nothing like booking a room as part of a wedding party and the lady running the facility yelling at the bride when she's entering a vehicle in her wedding dress because the vehicle was temporarily in the wrong parking spot. The most unprofessional place I've ever stayed. You'd think for the price, they would understand hospitality even a little bit. Will never stay again and will never recommend to others.

AGGIE IS NASTY! this hotel hires RUDE employees. I had to cancel my trip due to COVID. After not seeing my money back on my credit card for weeks I called again, they admitted to forgetting to refund me. The hotel manager even had the nerve to hang up on me. DO NOT stay here if you want to deal with nice people. NEVER in my life have I been treated so poorly. GROSS!!

My oldest daughter and her future husband booked a number of units for their wedding party this past weekend and the Concierge was just mean and rude to members of my family. My youngest daughter and I are confined to wheelchairs. There were only 3 spots and two of those belonged to the unit next to us that was empty. Because the units my daughter had rented were not accessible and the spots were gravel we parked for a short time in the spots that were for the unit next to us to unload and get carried in/out. The concierge harassed us and insulted us tellings us we were so rude for parking there even after we explained why. She offered no other option, threatened to have us towed and the police called. When the bridesmaids pulled the minivan up to get my youngest daughter (My oldest standing there in her wedding gown mind you) nothing but more harassment and threats. It took all of 10-15 minutes that we were in parking spots to empty rooms. The rest of the staff and the facilities were very nice. If that is the kind of service you get after spending around 10k - I hate to see what you get for spending less than 1,000. I highly recommend bypassing this place.

Do not stay here. Couldn’t check in and they kept our money! They said call after 5, which we did, and no one picked up. What a scam! And during Covid-19!
