Our room was great upon entering, but our stay quickly went downhill. Firstly, The only soap available at this hotel is goats milk soap, which I happen to be allergic to. I had to buy my own soap as they did not have any alternatives. Kind of surprising as animal milks are a common allergy. Secondly, We requested housekeeping for the following day at check-in and made sure we were out of our room at the time we requested (12pm). Upon entering the room at 5pm, our room had not been serviced. I called the front desk and they said it was too late for room service but they could send us new towels. Thirdly, We had problems with our TV. We were unable to use any button except volume and power. Someone fixed it while we went to dinner. The same night at 11:30pm, we noticed the tv would not power off using the remote or the button on the tv. We had to make another call to front desk at almost midnight for them to fix it. On top of it all, there were events here the weekend we stayed and parking was scarce. I understand we booked a budget-friendly option, but it was one thing after another during our stay at this location.

First time visiting here and our family absolutely loves everything about this hotel. Location, rooms, amenities, service everything. The ocean view from our room (phew!) was AMAZING Incredibly pleased with their shuttle services to/from Newport downtown. Only con - no free breakfast and kids entertainment. If they work on that, this would be an even better experience. Nevertheless, highly recommended!
