Derek is great and always fits my son perfectly when he needs new equipment. They also are the best skate sharpeners and I drive 25 minutes each way every week to get them done there. My son notices the difference if he has to get his skates sharpened in a pinch at the rink. Derek and all of his staff do an amazing job sharpening skates. He knows the equipment inside and out so he’s excellent at making suggestions and fitting the equipment properly. I highly recommend Manny’s.

I walk in there and the guy sharpening blades behind the counter is having a conversation with the only other customer in the place. No "hello", "can I help you with anything", basic customer service etiquette. I was looking for a few accessories and possibly to get fitted for some skates. When I asked him where I could find a certain item he told me where it was and went right back to his non job related conversation. I asked him another question and his response was that of someone being bothered and taking up his precious time, responding in a rude and short tone, like customer service was a nuisance to him. When a couple walked in to ask about when their skates will be finished, he responded to them in a rude manner, like they too were bothering him from his personal conversation with the other gentleman. It's unfortunate, because now all my business has gone to Pure Hockey.
