image I have been with this pool company forever! Buying chemicals, automatic pool cleaned etc. I just started using them a few years ago to open and close my pool newly divorce, the Wasband always did. When they closed my pool the previous year they took the fingers out of my pump so I couldnt open it myself like I did the year prior so ofcourse I scheduled them to close the pool again without removing the fingers in the pump. It was the Shiit show pool closing as it was raining and they clearly wanted to get in and out as quickly as possible with their $345.00 I had purchased a new tarp to cover the pool that was not the correct size so they did put my old cover back on. However I had to remove all the bags to reposition the cover and cut the cover to fit the stairs that for the first time in over 25 years could not be removed because they didnt remove the screws and started pulling up my pavers When I called to express my concerns they said they told me they would come back to put the new cover on. lies! They never said that why would I pull everything off and reposition the cover so it wouldnt fall into the pool? Long story short I wanted to schedule a pool closing this year but they cant accommodate me they arent accepting NEW customers Absolutely inexcusable, the absolute worst customer service they dont care about doing a good job to retain a customer. All they care about is charging to open and close and btw Ill fill my own water bags for $50. When I had to redo your work the first time anyway. Shame on you I will be posting my opinion on FB, Instagram, Next door and everywhere I can you do not deserve loyal clients when you are happy to slap them in the face and discontinue service yes Coral I will have to find another company to help me. Good bye and Good riddens if you cant make your wrongs right and dismiss customers. You deserve to loose customers due to your inappropriate customer service you can see the way they left the cover and how it looked after I had to do myself . Remind me why did I pay full price? cheap b-ards I will fly my Wasband here to close my pool before I pay you a nickel for your horrendous customer service! Game on Im telling everyone and anyone not to do business with you just watch! Ill be happy to give my biz to Signature pools who actually install pools and service their customers with A+ service its not the first time they have heard from your unsatisfied customers!
I responded to this msg:
Hi Nancy , it's . calling from pool and patio center . This is sort of an awkward call to make but I wanted to reach out to you because before we closed your pool we had taken a pool opening request for this year from you and I'm just wondering if you wanted to move forward with us opening your pool unfortunately the Only person who could do it before memorial day is royalty pools and they're the ones who closed your pool that you were not happy with other than that it would have to be after June 15 but if you could get back to me please and just let me know if you have gone with another company So that I can cancel this opening request or if you would like to move forward
I responded I would open the pool this year and
Here is the msg I received from you yesterday
Hi Nancy, it's. calling from Home Patio Center, Nancy I was mentioning to Curtis About your pool closing and I'm gonna get back to you as quick as possible based on what happened last year he's the only one that would be able to come out and close your pool and he's not taking on any new customers because I'm safety covers I have gone up considerably with the number of them we replace each year and he's responsible for doing all of those So I just wanted to let you know as early as possible As early as possible so that you can find a pool company who would be able to close your pool this year OK thank you very much call me with any questions I was really hoping we could have a conversation All right, thank you, Nancy bye
There is nothing further to discuss, you cant close my pool. Youre welcome

Nancy, I apologize for your frustration. It’s my understanding that when we recently called you for your pool opening, you said you were going to open your own pool. Please review our last email from November 3 and November 6, 2023 (see below). Last fall, you declined our offer to go back and reinstall a new cover you were going to buy because your old cover was undersized—we did not lie. Also, after your closing and in viewing the pictures you sent us, we noticed that you removed the water tubes we placed down and there was heavy water weight on your cover. As for your 2024 pool closing, due to your frustration, we would require our Service Manager to be on the job and, unfortunately, he is booked for the pool closing season. I apologize if this was not communicated properly. Here is our November 2023 emails: Thank you for your email I appreciate the offer but kept the old cover. I took the tubes off while repositioning the cover and promptly replaced. There was a screw in the latter on one side and I am assuming that’s why the stairs couldn’t be removed. It is irrelevant now as I cut the cover to fit the stairs. On Fri, Nov 3, 2023 at 11:50 AM Annette Stockley wrote:Nancy,Thank you for the pictures. What happened to your water tubes that were holding down your cover? Please put them back ASAP or replace them so that your cover doesn’t fall into your pool. I know that you recently purchased an under-sized winter cover that wouldn’t fit your pool so you requested that Christine cover your pool with your old cover. She let you know that when you purchased a new cover, she would come back to put it on. Time is quickly running out for us to put on a new cover due to freezing temperatures, water, etc. If you still want us to put another new cover on, once you purchase it, you must let us know BEFORE November 8. Continue to pump the water off your winter cover because the cover will fall in from the heavy water weight. Once the pool and/or cover water freezes, do NOT pump off any water as shifting ice can damage your pool liner and/or structure. Whenever we encounter a ladder or railing that gives us significate resistance to removal or we cannot remove—even when loosening the screws that hold the ladder in--we do not remove it as it could cause damage to railing, ladder and/or patio pavers; hence, we did not remove your ladder. It’s my understanding that you know your ladder wasn’t able to be removed. Again, please let us know BEFORE November 8 if you want us to put on a new cover. Annette M.
