I saw Dr. Demirs as a young adult. I recently moved home from Hawaii and my insurance assigned me with Dr. Demirs. I was excited to be able to see him again as I really enjoyed him as my doctor in my younger years. I called and asked if they could fit me in. The woman at the front desk named “Jennifer” was very rude and said “ he is no longer taking new patients and I honestly don’t even know WHY they would assign you to us”. I explained that I’m not sure but would like if she would ask if he would see me as I am pregnant and suffering with severe itchiness on my arms and need a primary care doctor (I also live in Charlestown so it would be very convenient).
She said “ I’ll ask and call you back... two days go by no return call... I called back talk to another women on the third day and she said she would have Jennifer call me. No call, I called back again and Jennifer answered. I told her I never heard back from her and would like to see the doctor or know if I would need to go somewhere else. She was so rude and acted as if I was a complete bother to her and with an attitude said “ummmm I’ll ask him AGAIN tonight”. At that time I decided that I do not want to be seen here with customer service that is so poor and disrespectful.
I am writing this review because as a business owner myself for many years I know the importance of customer service. I’m sure Dr. Demirs would not like his patients to be treated in such a way. Being kind to people and returning a phone call goes a long way.

I've been seeing Dr. Demirs for 22 years. I love everyone there :)
