      Family Guidance Center

      Family Guidance Center has a new vitality and a comprehensive new approach. Our emphasis is on creating positive changes in behavior within a short period of time. In fact, often as few as 6 to 8 sessions will restore healthy functioning for an individual, couple or family. Our degreed and licensed therapists will consult with clients to design a plan for changing and coping that makes a real difference. We then "coach" our clients to help them to meet the goals agreed upon.

      image Very poor service been waiting 2 months to see the psychiatrist to get on meds and nothing little ridiculous should have seen the psychiatrist the first week. Now I am left looking for another place to take me so I can see the psychiatrist and get me on meds Family Guidance center left me hanging very very very poor service just racking money off my insurance for bad service in return!!

      Brett our medication management policies are posted in the waiting areas and reviewed at intake; the process is for our services with medication management after intake assessments is: a client must be seen for at least three sessions consecutively with a therapist before the therapist can recommended the client to be assessed by one of our prescribers. Our prescribers schedules are not guaranteed to have quick availability due to the level of need at this time and client's are scheduled as there is availability.

      image I use to like them however now ever since my counselor changed they never get my appointment right. I have my appointments written down and they call me saying I missed my appointment... No sir I have it written as I heard them tell me. Plus when I call nobody ever picks up and never returns my calls. Now I received a letter saying I no longer can make appointments, because of your mistakes... Thank you for nothing. Worst place ever.
