Purchased a unit on Wayne Ave on Sunday , moved out my business. All to find out I could not move in that day after everything was set up for me to move that day . Nobody answered the office door , I was out front for an hour . I called customer service they advised me they were open , I told them nobody was in the office . I was forced to rent a unit at U-Haul, cost me twice more unexpected . I will never return , they arent reliable.

When my business first let out of space here, I was impressed by what seem to be a creative reuse of an old factory building that was conveniently walkable to Wayne Junction train station.
I learned over the several years I let a space here this storage facility was not at all convenient or what it seemed to be. On more than one occasion when visiting to either store files or retrieve files I found the ceiling above my storage unit was collapsing piecemeal onto the cabinets and boxes I had stuart, there was intermittent water damage which seem to come from leaking pipes above my unit.
The loading and unloading deck on the ground floor is designed only for the convenience of large trucks, although you can pull your vehicle into the bay, the platform of the loading deck it's about 4 ft above the garage Bay floor, and the singular flight of steps connecting the bay floor to the Loading deck is barely two feet wide. They're consistently always seem to be garbage, boxes, and items left behind on the garage floor shoved in the corners that never seem to get addressed.
Flatbed carts are only available when the offices open, you have to go in the office to ask for one, but the rest of the time they are not available. This makes loading and unloading and moving multiple boxes, heavy items, Etc outside of office hours very difficult and inconvenient.
At the end of February this year I went to remove the balance of what I had in storage so my new office and was completely surprised to find the city had condemned the building due to Major asbestos issues. The storage management did not reach out, there was no information on their website, when you called the phone number there would either be no response or a full voicemail box. For over a fortnight that I am aware the building was completely closed. The building suddenly reopened, again without notification, would you allowed me to clear out my locker.
The facility has one heavy duty lift, however the lift is painfully slow and locks into place on the destination floor for several minutes after you push the button before it will move again.
The lighting in the facility is very poor, the lighting on my floor or on timers, so it wasn't uncommon if I needed to be moving large loads in and out or I needed to spend an extended period of time of more than 20 minutes or so working in my locker but the lights would simply turn off.
