I lived there for one year. I thoroughly loved my apartment but unfortunately had to leave it as I had to move out of the country. The property management staffs are really nicest people. They have always helped me during the stay there. I really appreciate Vera, Franceina and Ninette for being so kind to me and helped me for the smooth lease termination process which was unforseen in my case. If I get a chance , would love to go back there.

We lived in the chancellor for 9 months. Maintenance is fast and it felt safe. There's a door person at all times. Noise is the biggest issue. The weekend noise is insane, and it's definitely not a residential area, but if you're very high up, you probably won't hear it. Paying rent is easy and application process was not hard, just the common stuff of first/last/security deposit so be ready with a large sum of money up front. Rent price is fair for the area. My only other complaint which is not related to the building is the smell outside. That is one stinky street, but it looked like the city was fixing something with the gutters/sewage.

I lived at the Chancellor Apartments for 2 years from 2018 to the end of 2020; a little bit into the pandemic as a student. The application process went very smoothly. The move in was a bit hectic because its a busy street and you are only given 2 hours to use the freight elevator but I managed. (Note that once Covid began, everyone wore masks and the Complex was cleaned more regularly than it already was which was a plus for me). I had a studio on one of the middle floors. Not too close to the street but not super high either. There was a lot of noise throughout the time I lived there because I picked a unit that faced the Main Street. The club Woodys is right next door so expect it to be loud on weekends. Something I got used to after a while. I suggest choosing a unit between floor 12 and the highest floor level to avoid the noise as much as possible. I saw 2 bugs my entire time living in this place (excluding any little gnats). The hallways were vacuumed regularly and the lobby was always decorated with beautiful plants and flowers. The security guard/doormen and women were always so pleasant. They always greet you and help you with any packages and mail. Paying rent was a breeze. The walls are pretty thin but what can you expect. I heard a lot of things I would have chosen not to hear lol Regardless I had respectful neighbors. Except one guy who accused me of being loud when it was a different unit but whatever, I wont let that 5 minute misunderstanding affect my rating. Maintenance was actually pretty good. They were always on top of everything and never let a problem go unfixed for a long period of time. But its up to you to call of course. Maintenance replaced my toilet, loose door knob, fixed the plumbing of both sinks and closed any exposed holes to avoid any pest issues. When you live in an old building in the city, youre usually more prone to having pests but I didnt have a single one. Vera and Franceina were the PERFECT landlords. I remember I use to go to the office just to say hello and have conversations with them and they always gave me the best advice. They were also always on top of anything I needed complete, even with all the tenants they had. Overall great first apartment experience. Not sure if people giving bad reviews are referring to the Delaware County location but here in Center City Philadelphia, my experience was great!
