Absolutely awful service, and the hotel manager could not have been more nasty. The parking fee of $37 per night is a lie. That is only the price if you keep your car there and never take it out. If you take it out during the day you are charged for the time you parked there and then the $37 for the night. IT IS NOT THE HOTEL’S PARKING LOT. The picture of the hotel that is advertised is extremely misleading too. The pool is a kid pool (3 feet deep), and the hotel is very old. If you want a pleasant experience and pleasant staff AVOID THIS HOTEL!!

The staff inside the hotel were nice. They were also helpful. I stayed here back in August but the Valet were very rude and impatient. I caught them sleeping on the job. Homeless people were hassling me everytime I entered or left the hotel. The elevator broke down so the only way to get out of the hotel as well as to the front desk was through an alley way. I guess I'm more upset with the City of Philadelphia and not the hotel.

Booked a pre paid reservation recently and due to unforeseen changes in travel plans had to cancel my booking. After calling on three separate occasions and speaking with two reservation managers I was informed that no refund would be applied to my account. Every time I had to go through the main line and wait until I could get a hold of a reservation manager who seemed to be off duty during the weekend? No direct extensions were offered. When I was finally able to reach a manager I inquired about a credit but was told that this location operates independently and the charge could only be applied to a future stay only at this location (even though I have no future plans to visit Philadelphia for either work or leisure). For someone who has consistently booked with Holiday Inn express, I have very disappointed in the customer service at this location and plan on booking with other hotel chains for both work and leisure in the future.

Extremely poor service. No rooms available when I came in. Had to wait 4 hours in the lobby. Front desk folks need more training, needs better management. Kept asking me to loiter on the streets, when I was already very tired. Then my luggage was held hostage for several minutes because bellman had disappeared.

The parking garage was absolute chaos probably one of the worst parking experiences of my. I literally didn't expect my car to be there when I returned the way they handle things, and when I got back at the end of the day they wanted me to pay $28 in addition to the prepayment I had already made. The attendant told me the only way not to pay again was to sneak out when another car was leaving (which I did).
