image This Aloft is tires, dirty and needs to be remodeled. The location is central to a lot of attractions, but the common areas and rooms are dirty and in disrepair. I would NOT recommend this hotel at this time. Too bad I really have enjoyed many other stays at other Aloft locations.
Rooms: Dirty and in disrepair
Walkability: Very walkable to many restaurants and sites.

image The stay was extremely disappointing. From would not recommend!check-in to check-out it was sub-par. For it to be 6pm, and still have to wait to check in is really disappointing. No apology or anything. Front desk person made it seem like we were a burden for wanting to check in. No hospitality or politeness at all. It impacted our plans for the evening. Even with waiting to check in, the room still wasnt ready. Missing body wash, etc. the shower and bathroom were gross. Mold and mildew in the shower due to poor ventilation. Paper thin walls where a barking dog was very loud and disruptive. Noises traveled so much between rooms, that you could even hear the people next door opening and closing blinds. The price of the room to be so small, in such bad shape, with no cleaning during the stay was ridiculous. On top of it, staff was generally rude and multiple times the front desk was empty. It seemed like they were over worked. Hospitality was missing 100% from this stay. Very unpleasant experience all around. I will never stay here again and make sure no friends or family do either! And I will probably not ever want to stay at another aloft again (even though Ive had positive experiences in the past).
Very disappointing experience.
Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. They are many hotels in a similar price range in this area that are much nicer.

image Location is all this hotel has. Its very easy to walk to so many places.
Now lets get into it,
Rooms, not very clean.
Our shower had mildew bad mold around the doors and tiles.
Carpets were dirty and needed to be vacuumed.
Windows were extremely dirty along with the blinds being either littered with holes or crumbled so when you bring them down to be closed they would fold and leave openings to allow light to come through.
Air conditioner would cause the window shades to shake as if almost a PVC pipe was constantly shaking all night long.
Your room comes with an ice bucket but no ice machines are located on each floor. Zip lock baggies of ice are in the lobby.
Mention of a Starbucks on ground floor but I never found it.
Website mentions a restaurant but its just light snacks at the bar that are essentially microwaved along with the snack area which is chips and such.
Valet, this is by far the most expensive valet Ive ever had in my travels.. 62 dollars per day before tip. Insanely over priced.
Room service in the 3 days of our stay never came and replaced towels in our room, we saw a cart in the hall way and just grabbed a few on our own because we were tired of using the same two towels.
Overall of all my stays at a various Aloft hotels this is by far one of the worst Alofts. Its like they just slapped the name on it and its a work in progress
Id also state that the lobby is loud and crazy, the bathrooms in the lobby are not maintained what so ever. The mens room numerous times that I visited it appeared as though no one had attempted to clean it the entire time of my stay.
I was relatively disappointed with the experience but thankful for the location of the hotel because it made it easy to walk to almost everything I wanted to do.
