Notice that many of the five star reviews stress the same odd selling points, such as there is no up-sell. These reviews seem to have been written by the same person, I believe someone affiliated with Dennis. Dennis cannot be trusted in my experience. They charge way too much and are not honest at all. Even Hillary has more integrity. Dennis will say and do anything to squeeze as much money out of you as they can, even if it means blatantly lying.

I have been taking my cars to Dennis Automotive for the past five years. In fact I was there today without an appointment because Dennis went out of his way to accomodate me into his holiday schedule so I wouldnt be without heat on one of the coldest days of the year. His prices have always been reasonable and he has never suggested a repair that was not necessary. He is thorough and will advise me of things to be aware of in the future. It is clear to me that the negative postings here cannot have been made by actual customers. Dennis has a very loyal longstanding customer base who, like myself, will continue to return based on the quality of the work and the customer interaction.

A recent review looks more like an ad (possibly written by the owner?) than a sincere customer review. In fact, all of the rave reviews make the same suspicious points, so in my view they could not possibly have been written by real customers. The five star posts give laughably implausible praise to this notoriously awful shop while simultaneously attacking obviously genuine negative reviews. Locals know to avoid this joint. I am sure as heck not a shill and have made the mistake of visiting Dennis Automotive. They tried to get $599 from my wife and I for unneeded work, then got very nasty because we did not fall for it. Look elsewhere or face the hefty financial consequences.
