AWS Senior Housing

All staff in the building need to be fired. Very immature & unprofessional. They have 0 work ethic & they don't even get around to interview people when they show up on time. When I showed up for my 12:30p interview on time & ready I end up having to wait around for staff member (Karen) to take & finish lunch when she scheduled my interview for 12:30p. Not only that then she had an attitude when she finally sat down to do the interview. I told her she can find another candidate for the position & walked out because I know my worth & what I bring to any table & I won't stand for my time or energy being disrespected. AWS Senior Housing is a joke.

Not the most enjoyable place to work. I spent 3 weeks at AWSH, the job itself was out of the ordinary for me. I'm a Janitor.. who took on this 'Porter' position thinking it would be in the vein of my previous porter assignment elsewhere. It wasn't even close. I was at another apartment complex, where as a Porter I primarily collected Trash & Recycle throughout the building. Unfortunately here, this was more of a forced Groundskeeper/Maintenance Tech position. It was mainly sweeping leaves and cleaning Vacancies. Hardly any independent mopping unless I did stairwells. Plus, management is quite immature. Feels like you're in Middle School, Karen & Robert (the respective Leasing Manager & Maintenance Supervisor) are unprofessional. Lot of petty aruing, poor communication & nit-picking about completed work. They always want tabs on you as well tracking where you are as if you're a child. Not a place I'd recommend for the common Janitor
